A Safe Place/Lake County Crisis Center

The women and children who reside at A Safe Place have had their lives changed dramatically through the inhumanity of domestic violence. 

These women come to A Safe Place because they were able to find the strength and courage inside themselves to make a difference for their own lives and the lives of their children. A Safe Place offers them shelter, support, and encouragement to continue their journeys toward a peaceful existence.

North Shore Alumnae chapter has adopted A Safe Place as our local philanthropy to help women and children affected by domestic violence. This year, we are collecting monetary donations at each meeting and will make a donation to the center in the spring through Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation. We also accept donations of travel size toiletry items.
